Check your Southwest flights again, price dropped!

I've been keeping an eye on December flights for this year, just so I'd know approximately what they'll be next year. The dates for this year that I was using to compare have gone up. I'm looking at points, and previously I could have gotten 3 round-trip Wanna Get Away tickets for about 43,000 points (I think, maybe less). I remember that my 52,000 Rapid Rewards from the sign-up bonus and spend would cover it and leave some to spare. Now my 52,000 wouldn't even cover it. I think the same flights I was plugging in before are now 54,000 points. That's kind of a big jump.

Glad I watched it this year to see. I'll be ready next year.

Booked our flights last week for our March trip and what I paid for our family of seven's roundtrip tickets was actually less than what I paid for our Disney trip plane tickets back in 2011 and 2013 when we were a family of six (flew SW in 2011 and SW/Air Tran in 2013)! We love Southwest and are ecstatic the stars aligned for us for this upcoming trip cause airline fare for our large family is a big chunk of our vacation budget.

We changed ours about a month ago for cheaper price, but today, we changed the time that works better for us for the same price!
We're going in mid Dec, so I was actually surprised to see the price still very low!
We got $30 credits back / person, so we may make a short weekend trip to Disney again. =D

BTW, I was told that the credit needs to be used within 1 year from booking (August). Do we have to book another trip by then or finish the trip by then?

Does anyone know when mid July will open up?! My husbands sister is getting married and the flights are all $450+ right now. Southwest has more reasonable fares (for May this far) at $380.....

I just checked again today and our flight home on Dec. 4 has gone down another $11. So, $55 for our 5 tickets.
