Hi guys

I am going to WDW September 27 - 30 and noticed that the base rate went down on my ressie. I had already booked at a lower rate, but for those of you who didn't, check it out. You may save a few bucks.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Keep watching, it may go down again!

I checked the site and my base rate is the same. Maybe I just got lucky and had a low base rate to begin with. I booked a full size from 9/28 - 10/1 and my base rate is $29.44 per day.

Thank you for posting - I'm sure it will help someone save $$! :)

My base rate (for four day rental) was $43.99 originally then it went down to $41.99. I rebooked. Then it went back up to $43.99. Now it is at $41.99 again. After my discounts and taxes, I am paying $138.36.

Wow - when are you renting? We have a 4 day rental in Nov. With my Disney club discount - and the internet LBV discount coupon i got from Mousesavers.com, our rate from Thurs night to Mon noon is $95.80. This rate made our choice between a rental and a limo pickup easy to make. :bounce:

I'm renting at the end of September. Is your $98 before taxes? The rate I quoted was after taxes. Also, yours may be less if you are renting for 4 1/2 days - you get a better rate for 5 days. I sure would like your rate!

My rate is about the same for November --

9 days total price (including tax and other crap) = 171.37
so it's about $19 a day

I used the Disney Club contract code and the free day coupon

Looks like November is a great time to rent!

Lucky you! I''m still jealous!

The difference between the beginning of November and end of November (not Thanksgiving) is significant. We were going to go for 4 days in mid-November and found that $95 rate. Had to change plans to 11/29 - 12/3 and we're at $135. Maybe it'll come down yet.

We are going third week of Sept and our base rate actually went UP from $124/wk to $132/wk. Sure glad I reserved when I did, now I just have to make sure I remember to bring my ressie!!!

We have reserved a car from 11/29 - 12/11 (12 days) for $223.22.
That's including taxes etc!!! I'm very happy with that rate but always
watching for other coupons and ways to make it lower. My goal is to be
under $200.00 but not sure I'll get that. Our base rate is $124.00 per week
and $20.00 per extra day. But I do have DC discount of 45.00 and a US bank
visa discount of $20.00.

Mary - could you please tell me how you were able to get a great rate? I'm shopping for the same time frame and using the DC and coupon, I was able to get 132.02 base, totaling 263.74. Using the capital one promo, it's 278.10.

Thanks-

0zzz17,

I plugged in your dates and Disney Club contract number and a Disney Club coupon and came up with:

Time & Distance 1 Week @ 132.02 132.02
Extra - Time & Distance 5 Day @ 22.00 110.00
Base Rate ___________ 242.02

Less Discounts:
Discount -48.40
Disney Connection -15.09

SubTotal ___________ 178.53

Add Surcharges & Taxes: (subject to change)
Concession Fee Recov Chrg 9.8 Pct 18.97
Fl Schrg/tire&bat Fee 2.05 Usd/dy 24.60
Fla License Fee .41 Usd/day 4.92
State Tax (6.0%) 13.62
Fftxrsu (0.0%) 0.72

Total Estimate ___________ $241.36

I'm not sure what you are doing wrong but that is what I came up with using the dates you said you'd be there (Nov 29 - Dec 11) and with the Disney Club contract number and one of the Disney coupons. The base rate is now $132. vs. Mary's $124. also she has a coupon for $20 vs. the Disney coupon is only for $15.

Hope this helps you!
