Betsy82 - look at the coupon. Does it have your friends name on it? My friend gave me a 30% off and they wouldn't let me use it cuz it says her name on it. I am a card holder also but I threw my coupon away by mistake.

The emails that we are getting online that says it is 15 20 and so on off do these give you an amount with how much you get off? I didn't see how you get it.

It does have her name printed above it, but she ripped it off the catalog. I could easily cut her name off without changing the coupon. I REALLY don't see them making a stink over it.

Anytime I've gone to make a purchase online it's pre-filled in the 15/20/30% promotion unless I overrode it with a higher % code.

I have never had them look at the name on my coupon before. I have even had someone give me their 30 right in front of the cashier because I only had a 15 and the cashier thought it was great. You must have had a very crabby cashier.

I never have either & would be pretty upset if they did this time. One time at our Kohls a lady showed the 30% code to use online posted on retailmenot.com and the cashier took it. Customers argument was she could go buy everything online for cheaper than the store & that's exactly what she'd do. Cashier didnt even blink! Just took the 30% off.

I think you got a cashier who was having a bad day and having fun making up rules. I cannot imagine Kohls making a customer mad over an additional 15%.

My sister in law used my mother in laws (it had her name on it) and the cashier didn't even blink. Our cashier was young and that probably had a lot to do with it. If I had to guess she was probably a seasonal worker.

It has a $10 off any purchase one time use coupon in it.

Wow, thanks for the 'heads up' on this! I would not have noticed it, have been getting so many emails that I just started deleting them.

I also got one in the mail for $10 for BF. I really don't do a lot of shopping there so am surprised - maybe they're hoping to win me over! I also have a 20% off card.

I used my sister's 30 % off today. The lady didn't even look close enough to read the name as it is so small. Also she took the 30% off before I swiped my card so she wouldn't have even known my name at the time she put in the discount. Another day I just told them I had 30% but left it at home and they took it off. I agree with the PP who said anyone can put the code in online and get the highest amount off so why would they refuse it in the stores?

Also, a few years ago I had a lady in line offer me her 30% off and the cashier wasn't happy about it. She said something like, "Well, I didn't see anything," and she accepted it.

I used mine, on my phone, with my 30% at 6:30 this morning no problem. I thought they were crazy to be open 24 hours, but it turned out to be very handy for me, when I needed to stop on my way to work!

We also got a $10 coupon from kohls--it came through our email as we were shopping at kohls ( I saw it after we got home)

anyways a few days later we were close to a kohls so I stopped to see if they could take the coupon

the clerk said that sometimes those coupons are scams and theres no way of knowing until they run it through with the PIN!!!

well it turned out ours was good and he just did a return on what I bought and did a "rebuy" using both the $10 off and my 15% off

good deal but now I wont know if the coupons are good until I check out

great one more thing to worry about!!!

Kohl's sends so many emails I don't even pay attention to them. I ended up getting one of these and my husband got one too. We used them today... thanks for saving me $20!

I hate to let free money go unused. I only had a few minutes to shop and didn't have time to browse . I always buy my daughter Christmas pajamas and even though I bought her a pair already for this year, I bought her a pair for next year and spent $2. Quick in and out and I didn't let the free cash go to waste.

I just ordered 3 sets of Christmas kitchen towels online. I used the free shipping code and the 30%-off code and ended up paying $1.45 OOP for the 3 sets. I don't care that they'll come too late for Christmas. I'll use them next year.

I just dug my unread Kohl's email out of the trash folder! I have a Kohl's card, but my email is for free shipping with no minimum purchase. I already used my 30% off coupon this week, and I kept my total under $50 because I don't want any more Kohl's cash driving me back to the store after Christmas!

I ran in my store this evening & they had moved what I wanted. I waited in line at customer service to ask where (or if they were sold out) and they sent me on a goose chase to somewhere the person on the Walkie Talkie said it was. I went there & they weren't there so I got frustrated and left.

Used the $10/$10 online with a 30% and just bought the item, with free shipping code, on my phone.

I'll just save it for my son's birthday or Easter maybe. They have enough for Christmas anyway.
