Check your Alamo Rates Today ... Mine just went down about $35

Alamo rates are down. Be sure to use your codes from Mousesavers. I ended up paying $120 (including taxes) for a rental from 9/3 - 9/8 !!!!!

That's great. I've been checking Alamo for a week in early November and can't get a car for less than $293 (economy) before taxes! We usually rent from Alamo, but this year it will be Avis!

My week for October is still $300+ no matter which coupon/code combination I use. I really don't want to use Advantage but until prices start to move I may have to.

I am looking for October also. In the past the closer you get to the time the cheaper the car. I am hoping the same holds true this year. The OP has a rental for the beginning of September. There is still hope for us, we just have to be patient.

Thanks! Unfortunately, my dates are too far out for the coupon yet. So the price is still very high, but I will keep watching.
