I had to cancel an upcoming reservation more than 31 days prior. I generally like to verify transactions while still on the line with member services-- after cancelling the reservation the reservation disappeared from the upcoming vacations list (as expected), but my total available point balance did not adjust while on the phone.

I was looking at my account a couple of days later and noticed the points were put into holding!

I called member services today and asked them to fix this. (I was on hold for about 15 mins.) Member services said they had to take a screen shot of my Vacation Points Contract Detail and send it on down to IT to get them to adjust the points and that it may take 5 days to see it reflected. Also, they have had several calls today on the same issue. It is a known glitch. The only way to get it corrected is to call member services and have them fix it....if you notice it.

I noticed that I had points in holding but while on the phone with MS that changed. It appears they cancelled my wrong reservation and caught it themselves before it became an issue.
It it weren't for this site I wouldnt have even thought to checkand it could have been a problem.
