Tinker Bell to appear at Disney World

Disney had a casting call for the roles featured in their upcoming "Disney Fairies" series. The movies will feature Tinker Bell and her fairy friends Iridessa, Fawn and Silvermist.

Disney spokeswoman stated "Disney Imagineers are currently creating a special new home for Tink and her friends which promises to immerse guests in the world of Pixie Dust at Walt Disney World."

While there is speculation that Disney is creating a new attraction around "Disney Fairies", details have not been announced.

how exciting. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Tinkerbell. I am hoping to redo my bedroom in a Tinkerbell theme. I have everything ready to go but no time. The bedspread and sheet set came from Japan (only place DH could find a Queen size reasonably priced) for Christmas.

This is what I want to know. I actually like the mystique of Tinkerbell. I love that my kids still like to go see her light in her drawer whenever she zips past!

I've not seen the movie or read the books, but I am assuming that those fairies must talk to each other or it would be a hard movie to follow.

I liked that the Tink of Peter Pan didn't talk.

I think it will be more geared towards the movie. The rumor I had always heard was that the meet and greet area would look like you were shrinking to pixie size. That way you could talk to Tink. Not like Julia Roberts portrayal of Tink in Hook, where she "grew".

Keep in mind too that you can see a life size Tink in the DL parade. And she was life size in the Pirate and Princess parade.
