John Cleese!
He was there for the Everest event (as was I) but we saw him outside of the event first, which made it really cool.
We didn't say anything to him - didn't want to bother him. But I felt like a starstruck teenager. (We were very discreet about taking the photo - again, he was just there eating breakfast with a guide and two others.)
Celebrities of differing degrees were all over AKL. I was standing in the middle of the cast of High School Musical and had absolutely NO IDEA who they were. My daughter is only 3, so she's still a little young for that demographic, I guess. :lmao:
I was there for four days and couldn't stay out of Joe Rhode's way! I saw him in AKL, out front waiting for a car, at the Everest party, at the opening event, at Raglan Road... Everywhere I turned, there he was!

:thumbsup2 Too cool!
I really like John Cleese, how kind of you to let him eat in peace. :sunny:
Cool about Joe Rhode also.....

What a great pic and story! How lucky for you! Joe Rohde had been featured on so many Disney specials, and as for John Cleese, I too would have been weak-kneed to see a real Monty Python.

....and my daughters said they saw him at Flying Fish Friday night

We were there all week last week and specifically did AK early in the week to avoid the celebs and crowds...of course, on Thurs/Friday we still ended up w/lots of press folks in other parks as well. My kids loved the Japanese press w/plastic hair wigs the best...LOL
