I am new here, but there is no way I would fly if those were the seats.
They can giddy-up without me!

Of course if Cowboys can sit in them for 8 hours......![]()
I have seen pic's of the "standing" option. They sort of strap you to a wall. Kind of like that carnival ride that spins real fast w/ people strapped to the outside wall.
All these crazy gimic's aside, planes must worry about weight. If they put 200 hundred people, plus their luggage, in a plane designed to currently hold 100, I'd suspect the plane would be to heavy to fly. Currently planes are required to be able to evacuate in 90 seconds (I think it's 90). I can't see that happening w/ these "gimic's"...
That part of the article made me giggle - that someone would try to use "Well, cowboys do it" as a legitimate line of reasoning. Does it mean that people in the 'cowboy' section can rope and hog-tie the business class passengers, too?
Actually, that might make it worthwhile.![]()
That what I thought when I saw the picture too. "Even the model can't make that seat look comfortable"That lady looks like shes uncomfortable and wants to fall out that chair!! I say No way!! I mean no offense to anyone but how would larger sized passengers fir in these rows let alone these kind of seatsAll about saving money and not caring about the passengers being comfortable
It takes cowboys weeks to get comfortable in the saddle for 8 hours a day.
