Check out the Very Merry Christmas Party

We've been to WDW a number of times but this was our first year attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and our girls had a blast. Not sure about crowds during the peak rush, but there were no waits when we visited on Nov. 18.

The Christmas Party is awesome and would encourage anyone going during that time to get tickets. We did it in 2009 and wait on rides was minimal also.

I was disappointed in the crowd for the Christmas party this year. I had hoped that spending that kind of dough on the ticket, they'd make sure to get the park cleared before letting only the wristband-wearers in.

As it was, anyone in the park that day was free to just stay there and clog up the parade path and other attractions. No one checked our wristbands at all for anything.

I know now for following years to not worry about spending money on the ticket if I can get the same experience just using my annual pass and getting in for the day.
