Check out my online DVC Point Tracker... (link posted in First Message)

I too have not received anything.

Do we have to do something special to see it??

Is this some type of scam???

I would love to see your planner. Just bought more points and now own at 3 different resorts. Would love to have a planner.

The original post was from September of last year. I haven't read through all the posts to see if the topic starter had posted recently, but if not, you probably won't be getting anything...

Lol, not 100% true. I'm an active member of the DIS community. Unfortunately, this project has been on the backburner until recently (I was working on my sig revolver for quite a while).

If you are interested in seeing this tracker, check back on July 24 ( my Birthday :) ) I will be posting a public link to my tracker on this thread. Mark your calendars.

To be honest, I didn't get a lot of feedback from the previous people that PMed when I originally posted about it - I was just going to let it die (the site is actually down right now). I've added a bunch of new functionality and will be responding to some who PMed recently looking for people that really are interested in checking it out and actually giving me some feedback on it.

So if you recently PMed me, I am will be responding with a link shortly. For the rest - check back July 24th.

Just curious, is this supposed to be like the interactive points calculator on the DVC web page? I e-mailed MS several times over the past month about not being able to view more than two itineraries at a time (if I'm lucky enough to get it to show me two). I finally heard back from them this weekend (Saturday if you can believe that) and they said that they were going to work on correcting it so that we can view multiple itineraries. They said that the system currently does not allow for itineraries to be "stacked," but that they are working to correct that now.

If this is not what your web page is about, then view this post as an update for those interested in the interactive points calculator on the DVC web page.

I, too, would like to visit your site if you're still allowing folks on it. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

No, this is not the DVC web page. This is something that I have designed on my own. I am not sure I understand what you are looking for in viewing 'stacked' itineraries, but if you create an account on my site you can save and view any number of plans you have created.

I have just sent out a bunch of PMs for people to review my site - I will send you one also and we can discuss what you are looking for.

For everyone else waiting to see it, it's coming... it's almost here!

Hi jfulcer,

I would love to see your planner. I am always looking for a eazier way to plan our family WDW trip. Thanks for taking the time to create the file.

Sorry for not being clear in my original post. I know that yours is NOT the DVC site and am also aware that you created it yourself...independent of DVC.

My question, I guess, was can you view multiple plans/itineraries at the same time on the same page to compare how many points each itinerary takes. The DVC web page is SUPPOSED to allow you to do this (their techy folks call it "stacking" the itineraries on the same page) but the function was not working correctly and we could only view one itinerary at a time while losing any previous ones. They're still working to fix it.

I'm excited about using your site and still can't believe that you took so much of your time to create something for all of us to use. Thanks again.

If you create an account to allow saving plans (itineraries), you can see all (well, most - I think 10 at a time) the plan summaries in table format. I think that may be what you are looking for.

A question that I would ask is what exactly are you looking to compare? If you create a plan that has say - 10 days on it and want to compare point cost for 1 br versus 2 br, then you could setup a plan for 10 days for 1br to see what points it would be. Then select 2BR from the dropdown, change your 'consecutive booking days' to 10, and click on the first day of your trip. It will clear the old booking out. Then click once more and it will 'redo' the booking and show you what it would be for the 2BR. Then you really don't have to look on another page/etc. IMHO in comparison to the DVC page it's a lot easier to play 'what if' on my page (but I suppose I'm biased).

Once you have created an account and login with it - even your 'what ifs' are saved for you. You can delete the ones that you don't use.

I suppose a modification of that page to allow you to 'select' indidivual plans for comparison (like you do on a commerce page) would be neat.

Your site is MUCH EASIER and USER FRIENDLY than the DVC site. It's much faster, too. It's not really necessary (using your site) to need the itineraries on the same page. All I have to do is switch resorts, or room type, or dates with just a click of the mouse and I have an instant update. SO NICE!

You're right, maybe a modification to compare saved plans would be nice, but I'm not sure if it's really needed with the way you have your site set up.

DVC needs to recruit you for their web site.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the praises. If you get the chance to think about what you might like/dislike about the site, send me an email to the address I gave you in the PM, I'm looking for direct feedback about the site.

For those who are still interested in the site but have not gotten a pm, check back on the 24th. The link will be up late that night. I just don't want too many fingers in the cookie jar right off. :)

I would love to try it. If it is online, will it work on a Mac using Internet Explorer?

we just became members....and have 3 different use years...so a tracker would be great...please pm me...thanks
