That is Venus crossing in front of the sun - which was visible in my neck of the woods at 5:30 am. No - I didn't get up to see it! This hasn't happened in over 100 years or so, however it will happen again in about 8 years.

Could someone do a screenshot to show it? All I see is the regular google logo.

At Thanksgiving, here in the UK, we don't get to see the kewl decorations they put on the logo, I guess they can tell by your IP that you aren't in America,,lol

My son's class has been studying space in Science and told me to make sure I watch the sun all day (he's 15 and likes to annoy me).

He laughed his head off when I showed him this picture.

He was really expecting something more substantial.
