Check out day

For anyone who's checked out recently...This morning, DH left the villa (BCV) and when he returned his keycard would not work to let him in the room. I tried mine and the lock lit up red, denying entry.

Has this happened to anyone else? I was under the impression we had until 11am to check out. We're usually out prior to 10, but our keycards always worked.

the only time it happened to us is when we went down and got a print-out of our charges the night before. when the keys didn't work, they said we had checked that night previously. they just gave us new keys so it wasn't a problem to get back in the room.

We had 2 DVC check outs this last trip. From the THV, we left while bell services loaded our bags so we had no need to return. While at AKV we were in and out right up until 11 am and the key worked each time. I can say though that Mousekeeping was right outside the door waiting for us to leave at 11 am. I wanted to savour every last minute in our villa.
