I just got my flyer from BASIN (the great bath store in DTD) and they have some great sales. We brought back quite a few "Bath Bombs" for DD's friends etc (nice gifts, the ones we got had little soap confetti Mickeys in them and they packaged them beautifully in little gift bags with "grass" and ribbon). I love this store!!! Check out www.basin.com and see the sales.

Do they mail out catalogs? I would love to get on the mailing list, but did not see that on the website, or did I just miss it?

Thanks!

You can subscribe to their monthly newsletter. I didn't see anything about a catalog. Either fill out the form and check the box next to I wish to receive notification of any BASIN promotions and updates or on the right hand side of the page there is a place to put your e-mail to subscribe.

The Basin newsletter does not come once a month. It comes maybe 4 times a year. I love this store!!!! It is so fun to look in. We bought quite a bit of stuff there and are returning again in July. I think the only other store they have is in the Mall of America but I might be wrong.

My Mom and I and my whole family absolutely love the shampoo bar! I have never seen them on sale though. Does anyone know if they ever have them on sale? :flower:

Are the shampoo bars kind of a hard textured bar?

When I used to go to England on business I would go to a store called Lush... they had the neatest shampoo bars that would last FOREVER and were wonderful on my hair!! laugh... I've tried finding them here in the states and it costs so much to order directly from Lush. The bars on Basin's website look very similar.

Thanks!

Yes the shampoo bars are like a bar of soap that you lather and rub into your hair and it rinses out completely, no residue! They last a very long time, the cm at the store said she washed her hair over 65 times and still going! :flower:

We're going down in May - so I'll pick some up then! I LOVE those bars!! The one's I've gotten from Lush lasted close to 60 times so it still was less per wash than other shampoos I've used. And I liked the way they left my hair too.

For those of you who have used the Basin shampoo bars, is there one you prefer? They all sound good to me!

I have used the hair food shampoo bar and have been satisfied. I bought one a couple of months back for sensitive scalps and can't remember what it was called, it's not on the website now though, I hope they bring it back, because I liked that one better. It really conditioned my long hair better than the hair food. Hope this helps! :mickeybar Sorry I'm craving chocolate!!
