We are staying at AKV. Our party total is supposed to be 14 (including a 7 week old unless my DSIL decides it is just going to be too hard to take baby). We have split all tables for easier seating during Christmas.

Saturday 12-20 (Arrival Day)
Boma (7:10)

Sunday 12-21
LTT (6:35)

Monday 12-22
HDDR (5:00 seating)

Tuesday 12-23
CP Nine Dragons (4:15 dinner, 6:45 CP)

Wednesday 12-24
We plan to get Yak and Yeti at 180 days out for 8PM dinner

Thursday 12-25
Ohana 6:30

Friday we leave. What do you think? We have never done Christmas before, but have been 3 times during January.

We arrive the day after you! Can't make our ressies until tomorrow though. We will be traveling with a 4 month old and also staying at AKV!!

Honestly I have never been during Christmas, but in case you had not been to Boma before, we were surprised by the sweetness of the majority of the food.

We had never had African food before and were excited, but thought it would be more savory, so it was unexpected that it wasn't. Personally didn't like it, but can't decide if it is because it was not our taste or because it was unexpected. So I can sleep better at night, you are hereby forewarned!

LTT would be a dream come true to do around Christmas! We love it there. I think you will like Ohana on Christmas too, it does mean "Family"!

Cool. I see you are DVC members. Maybe we will run into each other while there. I am trying to mentally prepare myself for Christmas crowds as our last 3 trips have been during the supposedly "slow" time (and sometimes we think they are crowded)! Anyway, we have a different focus this trip.

Good luck with your reservations. I was on the phone forever, but I think alot of that was CP opening up today.

As far as Boma, we have eaten there and DH and I liked it, but I am a bit worried about the rest of our family. I didn't think about Ohana meaning family, that will be good for Christmas (we originally wanted HDDR on Christmas Day, but it was completely sold out!).

Wow! HDDR was sold out already??? Crazy!!! We are going to try for Ohana for breakfast Christmas Eve Morning before we leave. There are so many choices at Boma everyone should be happy. My BIL is very picky and we know he will be content with just the desert bar!!

I hope the crowds don't pick up until the 24th. Fingers crossed!!

We are! We just joined in February and are going on a cruise in September and staying the night before at AKV just to check it out before Christmas. It was a good excuse to make sure I got on WDW property while being sooo close! The Christmas trip will really be our first trip "home"!
