We will be there for 6 days/5 nights, and I really want to hit 6 TSs. So, how do these look, and which one do you think would be the most cost effective for paying OOP? I think either the lunches, or LTT, since LTT is $28/person flat rate. For lunch we would probably get no more than 2 apps and 2 desserts to split among the four of us.

Mon: Kona Cafe (lunch, first time, I really want to get my mom some Kona coffee!)
Tues: Coral Reef (Mom's request, first time)
Wed: 50's Prime Time (first time), followed by Fantasmic
Thurs: Alfredo's (brother's pick, we love it!)
Fri: Liberty Tree Tavern
Sat: Grand Floridian Cafe (lunch, my pick!)

Quick question? Other than GF and Kona-are there any other lunches? I agree that you should do a lunch OOP. If the rest are dinners then I think I would pick Kona for lunch to do OOP. If Prime Time is lunch, then that would be a good pick. Have you looked at the menus on www.allearsnet.com?

Do you ever share meals? You also might take that into consideration. (We've shared meals on the DDP on two different trips and plan to do so also in Sept.) :goodvibes

Hope this helps. Have fun!!

Hi, me again. I noticed that you love Alfredo's. We haven't eaten there yet and wondered what you liked (loved) about it. I've made our ADR but I'm thinking of adding/changing one to try something new. I was thinking of either Alfredos or Chefs de France. What do you think? Have you tried both? :thanks

Yes, all the rest are dinners. I have looked over the menus, and we may share (I hadn't thought of that). Maybe we should use DDP every time, and if we do end up sharing, we can use the leftovers at GF Cafe. If not, we'll pay OOP.

Well, I love Alfredo's, and DH loves Chefs. I love Italian food, and the atmosphere and music are just wonderful. Italy is also my favorite in the World Showcase. DH loves Chefs because he says it's unique, you never get to eat French food otherwise. He also loves the French girls that the servers! Both are really good, I'd say it depends on which country you prefer!

Ok, I have now been informed by DH that we CANNOT skip Le Cellier!! So which one to give up--50's (on Fantasmic night), or LTT? I can book an early (4:30ish) dinner so that we could still get to MGM or MK on whichever night.

Oh, tough decision. We're eating at Le Cellier for dinner this time. We had lunch there last Sept. Thanks for the info re: Italy and France. I'll talk to my mom and see what she thinks. I'm sure DD6 will be happy with either.

Thanks again.

Don't be afraid to share meals. That is what we are planning to do in a couple of weeks. We are doing this so we can spread out our meals and experience different restaurants and with the dining plan and all the food you will get I think we'll be fine. We are a family of 5 and we plan to split 3 meals b/t us when we are not at a buffet.
