I am planning my first trip to Aulani and am normally a very detailed Disney planner. Whats driving me crazy is I can't find anywhere when you can reserve certain things.

For Example I would love to know how many days out I can reserve the following:
(i'm updating as I get confirmation of dates)

Cabana -booked as soon as I made reservation (7 months out)
Character Breakfast - 180 days prior
Luau -60 days prior
Auntie's - 90 days prior
Pearl Harbor Tickets - 60 days prior
Rental Car - got it ~6.5 months prior, continuing to watch for better rate although very happy with what i have

I think everything is ~60-90 days but trying to confirm that is VERY difficult.

Is there anything else time sensitive I need to worry about?

Thanks!
Melissa

I personally have not reserved any of the things you are looking for ahead of time but I know from having read almost every post on this board since it began that you need to reserve your cabana waaaay ahead of time. Some people have posted they booked in feb for Sept, that kind of time frame. Here is the link, I believe you need to phone ahead https://resorts.disney.go.com/aulani-hawaii-resort/activities/poolside-cabanas/

I will link my trip report, because I think I commented on booking intervals for just about everything on your list other than the luau since that hadn't started when we went in June.

Here is the Aunty's pre-booking instructional thread I made:

In general, Aunty's is exactly 90 days for preregistration. Pearl Harbor is exactly 60 days. Cabanas and meals vary in my experience. I did cabanas at 5 months and executive lanai was already booked but I got the cabana I wanted for all three days over a holiday weekend. I did makahiki at 5 months no problem, but when I needed to change dates at 2 months, all good times were booked (but was able to change upon arrival at resort to a better time).

Other things to book early: rental car (I did 5 months and rebooked several times when price dropped), flights ( booked at 5 months and all, prices did thereafter was increase), timed excursions (we did Climbworks and a catamaran trip). Babysitter services at 2-3 months, no later. See my trip report for a lot more details. Have fun!
