Yes. There are just a number of restrictions because it's a park - you can't start until an hour or two after it closes to day visitors, for example.

i know this is a question which any disney fan should know, but what sort of time does ak close?

im wondering if you could havethe ceremony there, a few photos around the park, then off to epcot living seas for a meal, then down to a dessert party to watch illuminations maybe?

AK usually closes around 5pm, sometimes 6. So at least it's fairly early. But IllumiNations starts at 9pm most of the year, so I don't know if you'd have enough time to have a ceremony *and* a reception beforehand. Maybe you could do the ceremony and then use IllumiNations as your pre-reception and have a late reception afterward.

thats a good thought, but would epcot allow me to have the reception in living seas after illuminations? (i must be tired *** I cant remember what time epcot closes either!!)

plus i will have some young children at the event and I think it would ruin it if they start getting miserable when they get tired!

i will have to think hard about this ... but lets face it, i have plenty of time
