We are doing the land/sea starting 1 week from today!! Is it true that we check in for our whole vacation at the resort?? Does that mean when we arrive at PC we can just board the ship immediately without doing a check in there too??

You do not have to check in at the ship but you still must wait on the boarding line until the ship lets people on..unless of course your bus come to the sport after boarding has already begun...then you can just walk on.

That's good news! So when we get there from the land part all I have to do is go hop in line? That is a relief! I wanted to get there early and now I can and not have to worry about wasting time checking in! Yippee!!

We are doing the land/sea too, does this mean that you put your credit card down at the hotel and it is still good for t he ship? I was thinking that maybe I should put cash down instead of the credit card how does that work?

At the hotel, you check in normally for your stay, then you check in at a separate desk for the cruise. You can do this anytime during your hotel stay when the cruise desk is open. Basically they do exactly what the port check-in folks do.

The hotel portion is settled up like a typical hotel stay. You have to put down a credit card when you check in and all of your room charges are settled at the end of the stay.

For the sea portion, you have to fill out one of the cards in your documents that specifies what credit card you want to charge. This document, along with several others, is handed in at the cruise desk. Yes, it can be the same one as the card you used for the hotel, but they don't automatically transfer the info for the sea portion. The cruise is then settled at the end as well.

We had all our documents filled out when we checked into the hotel and they took them all...once we got to port we got right on the boarding line, no need to even check in there at all since they take all your documents at the hotel.

Thank You everyone. We leave for the BC in 6 days and the Wonder on Sun. 10/17!!!! I am suppose to be getting ready for work now, but I can't drag myself away from these boards!!!
