Check in with 2 families

We're sharing a 2br next week with our DD and her family. They will be meeting us there on check in day. DH and I are the DVC members and the ressie is in our names (of course, they are listed also). Can DH and I check in before they arrive? If so, will they also have to check in or will we be able to pick up their room cards when we check in?
Silly question I guess, but we've not done it this way before. Thanks for the help!

Any adult (ages 18+) listed on the room reservation can check-in. That person will receive the welcome packet with all KTTW cards. If you wish, you can leave theirs at the front desk if you will not be around to meet them when they arrive.
