Check-in time from Sanford-Manchester

Anyone any idea latest checkin time to travel back from Sanford to Manchester with Mytravel?

Last time we flew with Airtours (MyTravel) we checked-in in the morning about 9:30 and then went off again for the rest of the day.

The latest time is likely to be about 3 hours before departure, with all the extra security checks they are currently doing.

Its still officially 90 minutes I think but I would check if there are other flights leaving at the same time or thereabouts if possible. Departure lounge is now better at Sanford although the food still c**p and a pint of beer extremely extortionate.

We checked in 3 hours before departure but the departure lounge was relatively empty for the first hour.

The security checks are quite intensive including full 'pat' searches, electronic hand held scans and the usual metal detector doorway. Expect to have to take your shoes off so make sure your feet are clean!!!!!!
