Check in time at port

How strict are they with check in time? I waited to the last minute to online check in and couldn't get a time until 2:15 but I'd like to get there closer to 1. Possible?

What you have is a Port Arrival Time. The boarding number you receive at check in at the port is tied to your PAT.
That said, once the boarding number being handed out at check in catches up with the number being announced for boarding, Open Boarding is announced. This typically happens around 12:45-1:00. Arriving around that time you'll most likely board as soon as you check in.
