Check in question

I have 2 studios booked for this coming weekend, one will have myself , DH, DS and DIL the other has 2 friends. My son and DIL will arrive hours before DH and I will.....can they go ahead and check in? Their names are on the reservation, however, it is important to me that we be in the same building as our friends, I do have the 2 reservations linked.
If they go ahead and check in without the rest of us there will it mess up our plan to be near our friends?

Anyone listed on the reservation that is over 18 may check-in a room.
Not just linked.
Put "Travel with" notice on both yours and the other reservation. So that the CM doing the room assignments will know what you are asking for.
Then whomever checks in can then check-in both rooms.
I did this at SSR for three rooms booked under different names. DW & I arrived early and I was able to check-in all three rooms. Two of the rooms were online check-in and one was not. Inform the CM at check-in what you want to do and they can be most helpful.
