Check in online and Magical Express

So if you check in online can you not have magical express do airline check in? I assume that was my issue. See I checked into our flight yesterday to get a good boarding pass number. Then this morning I took our bags to the hotel airline checkin to take our bags. They told me they were having issues putting us in their system and that we would have to take our luggage with us on the magical express. I'm wondering if me doing online check in caused the issue. Anyone with similar situation or experience?

I am not sure how it works for all of the airlines, but we had someone in front of us who had already checked in online with their airline to get a last minute seat assignment and then went to RAC the next day.

RAC stated they had essentially already checked in, and they were locked out of the computer system. They had to take their luggage on the bus.

I don't fly often, so I am not sure why it happens that way.

I've never had an issue with this. Since we usually fly Southwest, I usually check in 24 hours before from my phone from whatever park we're at. I've never had a problem with RAC not taking my luggage to the airport (did it already twice this year - Janaury and May and I suspect they will do it again in October).

Hmm interesting. Southwest is what we are flying on. I guess I don't know what the issue is then.

Yes. May be a one-off problem. We've checked in for SWA flights at 24 hours and using EBCI and never have had an issue with RAC.
