The winners said that a FedEx truck delivered a package saying they won. I live on an island where residents have PO Box addresses. When I plan my WDW vacations I use my PO Box, so that is listed on my WDW account. Does that mean that I stand no chance of winning because FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes.:sad2:

I have been on OLS since 2005 and I too get burnt out and taken time out. I envy your cash wins, never won anything close to that money wise! I agree on the trips, our last was the trip to Las Vegas, its was hubbys dream trip because we had front seats to his idol Jimmy Buffet. I was glad we won it for him and I agree, the dry spells can break you! It is a tremendous amount of work, I treat it as a job, sometimes it pays, most times it doesnt but I love it anyway! I am Lucinda574 on ols, do we know each other?

I am Honeymom on OLS, too. I don't forum that much and I got seriously ill this past year and took off from sweeping from June until Thanksgiving. Just getting up to speed again.

The killer on the $10,000 win was that it was from Kraft and it was one of 2 or 3 first prizes. Which means I came really close to winning the grand prize. That was something like $260,000. The $10,000 was great, but $260,000 would have been life changing.

FYI-

If you entered by Text-you get a phone call

If you entered by website-you get a email(be sure to check your Junk mail file)

I still do not believe the one winner listed here was notified nt Fed-Ex without a previous call or text?:confused3

Yes, it is an elaborate ruse. She made it all up. She is probably laughing maniacally at us all right now. :sad2:

Anyone else having problems entering today? No mater which browser I access the site from it is giving me a message of "On a tablet or mobile device? Text to enter". But I'm not on a tablet or mobile device and my cell phone carrier doesn't seem to like the text-to-enter because when I tried that I never got a confirmation that it went through.

Can I use your address for contests?:rotfl: I'd rather answer math questions than pay all those taxes.;)

Hi, if you go to disneyworld.com and sign in, there's a place on the upper left near the Welcome where it says "update profile". Just click on that and then you can make all your updates and changes there!:)

Thanks! I checked both my account and my DH's account and some of it was old, or the contact method wasn't set. :scared1: I fixed it immediately!

Also, I am checking my spam filter every day to make sure it doesn't filter out any possible email.

I had to clear my cookies before it would let me enter today. Might be worth a try?!

Congrats to the winners....and I am really shocked at some of the negative comments people are leaving. It is a contest....sure, I would love to win, but I am excited for those that will even if I don't.

That said....I think my FedEx guy is gonna take out a restraining order on me....

Good luck everyone and have a Disney Day!

The rules say:

"On or about one (1) business day after each Daily Drawing, each potential winner will be notified via email or cell phone, as appropriate, to obtain a mailing address as well as any additional required information or responses. Once mailing addresses are available, each potential winner will be sent paperwork by overnight delivery service. "

I guess it is possible they skipped the notification by email or cell phone though. It's not my place to judge someone else. I know I will be checking my email more carefully from now on. Does anyone know who the sender would be? I get a lot of junk mail.

It also says in the rules:

"It is your sole responsibility to notify the Administrator if you change email address ("Address"). To do so, go to http://register.go.com/go/memberservices/home, log into your Website account with your Member Name and Password, click on "Modify" and follow the instructions on how to change the Address. "

So, do this if you aren't sure. There is also an area on this same page to put your street address.

Why can't you understand the RULES?

They will contact you via email or cell as appropriate to GET YOUR MAILING ADDRESS. If they already HAVE your address (like perhaps in Watkinsme case) they sent her the FedEx package straight off.

Another sweeper here. I do about a hundred dailies a day. 2 WDW trips and a nice Utah trip so far...no big cash wins yet (although I've won $190 in gold, $500 in groceries and a color Nook in the past month).

Do you like OLS? I go there every now and then, but it seems to be a lot of small win sweeps. I like http://www.sweepstakestoday.com because its pretty good at identifying big contests from small contests and the user comments have been extremely helpful at identifying spam/timeshare/opt-in and other entry issues - my main criticism is that their "new" contests are usually a day old. For catching a new contest early, I sometimes go to http://slickdeals.net/forums/.

For purely Disney trip contests, I try the following (in order of quality):

http://disney.go.com/official-sites/sweepstakes
http://www.mousesavers.com/disneysweepstakes.html
http://disneycontests.blogspot.com/
http://winatriptodisney.com/

I entered today...at least I think I entered today. I put in my given name. That's not the name I go by though. I have a nick name of sorts that people call me. Do you think this disqualifies me? Also, my phone was on roaming when I text entered yesterday. Now, I'm not so sure Disney knows where I live. My house is 45 minutes from where I texted my entry.

I was so worried that I followed the Fed Ex truck in my car for an hour yesterday just in case......

........:lmao:;). Good luck today my friends. May the odds be ever in your favor.

I've always wanted to know, that if you won a trip and the resort wasn't where you wanted to stay, could you pay for a room only package at another resort, and check into both. I'm sure you'd have to check-in to the sweepstakes resort to activate your keys to the world, but then actually stay at the other resort. Not trying to sound spoiled, or be an ingrate, but we've been so many times and where we stay makes a tremendous difference in the enjoyment of our trip.

I would imagine that's what you could use the $1000 gift card towards in this case, but I do believe that the winner of this specific contest can choose where they would like to stay and aren't assigned a particular resort.

From experience- Disney lets you pick the resort. YOu get a travel questionnaire with all the Deluxe resorts listed and you list your top 3.

THANK YOU! :worship: I couldn't figure out how to add my address. When I signed up for my Disney account it wouldn't accept my Canadian Postal Code so I put the only American code I could think of... 90210!

Now it has my proper address! :woohoo:
