If Ventura is handling, the number can be anything, but more than likely a NYC or area number....also it can also come up as 123-456-7890, I have got winning calls from that before also

I mean I thought it was weird they didn't leave a message. If I had won, I'm sure they would have called back / left a message / send a text / email. I mean I don't think it'd be "OH you missed the call. SORRY" well at least I hope not.

Plus I thought they were drawing today so I thought the timing was off too.

BUT a girl can dream.

I love love LOVE people who think like this! Yes you are right, sweeps are scams, please dont waste your time entering!!!!

Someone has to win, I enter them all, hoping to win, but understanding you have to enter to win and there are no guarantees. Good luck everyone, I hope all yours ( and mine!) Disney dreams come true!

My husband laughs at me when he comes downstairs at 5:45 am and sees me sitting making my daily entries. But at least he agrees that I'll never win if I don't enter. And I have access to his e-mail so any contest that lets more than 1 person in a household enter, I enter both of us.

One of these days!

On another note, my DD12 won Disney Live tickets yesterday from entering her newspaper carrier contest. The show is tomorrow night.

Now my DS7 is hoping his multiple coloring entries will win him Monster Jam tickets. Cross your fingers and wish him luck - drawing is next week!

I had a conversation with a lady that called herself a "Sweepstakes Expert" and had won numerous trips, a car and countless other prizes.

When I told her that I like to enter contests to try to win a trip to Disney, she told me that statistically, Disney trips are easier to win than other trips. That the odds are better because fewer people are interested! I don't know if she was right or wrong, but I thought I'd pass that tidbit along.
