Does any one else find it odd that they want it back overnight? It seems they want everything turned around so quickly. Kind of scary if you lose email access or aren't home to get your mail. Yikes!
Yeah, that crossed my mind too, especially since we're going to WDW for a week later this month. With my luck the FedEx man will be trying to bring me my prize while I'm 1200 miles away!![]()
This would be just my luck as well. Maybe I need to hire a squatter.![]()
OK, I have a question that may have been covered, so if I missed it I'm sorry.![]()
I know that @ page 10, everyone agreed that "address" probably means email address as per the rules.
I have been entering online daily. Both me and my DH have email addresses/logins on the Disney website, so we have each been entering daily. If both of our login info has the same home/mailing address, would our entries be voided?
I obviously would like to double my chances of winning but don't want to nullify any entries. Does anyone else have a similar situation?
BTW, congrats to the winners.![]()
The general consensus in this thread is that "address" means email address. I don't agree. I would also like to double my chances of winning, but in this case, I, personally, will take "address" to mean home address/household. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not taking any chances. Maybe some of our winners could let us know if more than one person in their house entered and that it was OK to do so. Until then, I'm not taking any chances.
Congrats to the winners and good luck to all!
Congrats to the winners!! I hope you share your trips with us and the stalker person hasn't scared you away!! Cuz I would be kind of freaked out by that![]()

Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your on-line service will apply. It is your sole responsibility to notify the Administrator if you change email address ("Address"). To do so, go to http://register.go.com/go/memberservices/home, log into your Website account with your Member Name and Password, click on "Modify" and follow the instructions on how to change the Address
Usually I've entered on the computer, but we are out of town so I thought I'd just txt. The last time I txted i got a response that said something like "Congratulations, you are entered to the OMDD contest." Today when I txted my response was just "Check out Disney online for all things Disney". What does that mean? Did I enter? What response did all you texters get?
When you text DISNEYDAY, is it to #Disney or just plain ol' Disney?
I have had my daughter texting it both ways, but we have yet to receive any type of response.
The rules say:
"On or about one (1) business day after each Daily Drawing, each potential winner will be notified via email or cell phone, as appropriate, to obtain a mailing address as well as any additional required information or responses. Once mailing addresses are available, each potential winner will be sent paperwork by overnight delivery service. "
I guess it is possible they skipped the notification by email or cell phone though. It's not my place to judge someone else. I know I will be checking my email more carefully from now on. Does anyone know who the sender would be? I get a lot of junk mail.
It also says in the rules:
"It is your sole responsibility to notify the Administrator if you change email address ("Address"). To do so, go to http://register.go.com/go/memberservices/home, log into your Website account with your Member Name and Password, click on "Modify" and follow the instructions on how to change the Address. "
So, do this if you aren't sure. There is also an area on this same page to put your street address.

We'll be in WDW in February for 8 days and that has crossed my mind as well. The only issue with that is even if you have someone check your mail every day, you have 1 day to complete the affidavit and send it back. So if there's a notification from Fedex that they tried to reach you, your neighbor or whomever else can't go pick up the letter from Fedex. Or let's say they deliver the letter to your home without actually making sure you're home. How are you supposed to get the affidavit to FL, find a notary and Fedex it back all within one day?
I think I would rather not know until I came back that I would have been a winner, you'll end up spoiling the rest of your vacation knowing you could've won, but because of logistics and timing, you missed out.
