Well I would hope that if I enter by text that they would contact me by text. No? Do the rules say they will call and not text? At least a text would be similar to the e-mail contact or the Fed Ex contact that our two winners have gotten - just a (possibly missed) phone call doesn't seem the same.

Does any one else find it odd that they want it back overnight? It seems they want everything turned around so quickly. Kind of scary if you lose email access or aren't home to get your mail. Yikes!

Yeah, that crossed my mind too, especially since we're going to WDW for a week later this month. With my luck the FedEx man will be trying to bring me my prize while I'm 1200 miles away!

I actually mentioned to our neighbor who is taking care of our dog to keep an eye out for packages. Not strictly because of the contest, of course... Living in the boonies I do a lot of online shopping too and while I'm not expecting anything that week you never know when a shipping delay might rear its ugly head. But I'll rest easier knowing he's got our cell phone numbers and will give us a ring if we get one of those "sorry we missed you" notes from a delivery service.

OK, I have a question that may have been covered, so if I missed it I'm sorry.

I know that @ page 10, everyone agreed that "address" probably means email address as per the rules.

I have been entering online daily. Both me and my DH have email addresses/logins on the Disney website, so we have each been entering daily. If both of our login info has the same home/mailing address, would our entries be voided?

I obviously would like to double my chances of winning but don't want to nullify any entries. Does anyone else have a similar situation?

I would like to also know if husband and wife are safe to enter. Seems like rules are usually clearer on that.
Also wondered about our 4-phone family plan with 4 adults on it all entering.

Wish there was a place to inquire about this.

The rules actually say that "address" means EMAIL address. Both you and your DH entering is fine.

Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your on-line service will apply. It is your sole responsibility to notify the Administrator if you change email address ("Address"). To do so, go to http://register.go.com/go/memberservices/home, log into your Website account with your Member Name and Password, click on "Modify" and follow the instructions on how to change the Address

Todays text entry response is the same for me - 1st line says "Congrats you are entered for a chance to win"....2nd line says "check out disney.com/memories...."

I just entered the number, no # sign and hit send. I got a response back thanking me for entering.

The rules say:

"On or about one (1) business day after each Daily Drawing, each potential winner will be notified via email or cell phone, as appropriate, to obtain a mailing address as well as any additional required information or responses. Once mailing addresses are available, each potential winner will be sent paperwork by overnight delivery service. "

I guess it is possible they skipped the notification by email or cell phone though. It's not my place to judge someone else. I know I will be checking my email more carefully from now on. Does anyone know who the sender would be? I get a lot of junk mail.

It also says in the rules:

I get an email from "Just Free Stuff" each day. One of the things James includes is notes from people who have won contests. Today's email had a note from Rhiannon saying she'd won a Disney trip from the daily sweep. So there's one more known winner, but evidently not on the DIS. And not showing up on the winners list on the website yet either.

We'll be in WDW in February for 8 days and that has crossed my mind as well. The only issue with that is even if you have someone check your mail every day, you have 1 day to complete the affidavit and send it back. So if there's a notification from Fedex that they tried to reach you, your neighbor or whomever else can't go pick up the letter from Fedex. Or let's say they deliver the letter to your home without actually making sure you're home. How are you supposed to get the affidavit to FL, find a notary and Fedex it back all within one day?
I think I would rather not know until I came back that I would have been a winner, you'll end up spoiling the rest of your vacation knowing you could've won, but because of logistics and timing, you missed out.

Yep, almost makes me glad I'll be too bogged down with work to even think of going anywhere for the next three months.

Something PPs were saying reminded me to check my spam email JIC my notification had gotten sent there. Wow. Looking in my spam folder sure makes me appreciate that spam gets sent there directly
