First post, been reading this for a while.. finally registered! Does anyone know if they've picked the winners for last week entries? It says ''on or around Feb 22nd.''

We've discovered that "on or around" means whenever the heck they feel like it, but yes, last week'd winners were already picked. I think one of our DIS winners was the 15 or 17th?

No, I was referring to the one who wondered how many of us actually won, because the internet is full of bored people and weirdos, who have nothing better to do then spend all day lying about a really great prize they didn't win. And getting their posts up to 500.

To those of you still keeping your fingers crossed, and chasing down the FedEx truck, just keep thinking good thoughts. I never thought, when I was entering the contest every day, that I would win. I mean, I hoped, otherwise I wouldn't have been entering daily. But, I don't think at the very core of my being that I really believed it would happen. So keep the faith. It's going to happen for 60 people, so those are pretty good odds.

Thank you for such a positive post!!! I look at it this way, if I win it's terrific, but even if I don't, I'm going anyway! Congrats to you and all of the winners!

On a POSITIVE NOTE...should be booking our sept vacation today! DH's uncle is giving us his DVC points for the stay and our 7 month window just opened. Cross your fingers that we get the resort we wanted!

What resort are you looking at? Our 7 months window opens on Thursday! We are hoping to get Kidani, but will take Jambo if need be. Win or lose OMDD, we are still going and will have a great time with family

Why wouldn't they get defensive? You've questioned the integrity of those who've posted they won. Of course you've ruffled feathers. You've essentially called them liars/frauds. Did you expect hugs, high fives, pats on the back or the winners to go "aww-shucks, Blessed...ya got me!" ?

I've been lurking, and finally posting. I've been keeping up with this post because I want to win!!!!!!! I'm obsessed. My 11 year old daughter says we're going to be the very last winners. I sure hope she's right!

We just went to WDW at Christmas, man, was it busy!!! Before wasn't bad, but from Christmas Day on it was crazy. We'd like to go in the off-season.

Can't wait to hear more winning stories!

Have there been any winners who do not live in the US yet? I'm curious. I'm entering every day but have yet to hear of a canadian or elsewhere winner so was wondering if maybe I was wrong and it isn't open to canada?

It's possible that there has been a Canadian winner and they're not on the DIS boards. They haven't updated the website with winners names in a couple of weeks.

I'm actually Canadian but I live in the states, so I don't really count.

I just checked the mail and got my letter from Disneyland. Yay! Now I've got to ask a few questions of my own. How is everyone returning their letters? I wish they had just e-mailed them to us so we could just e-mail them back.

Has anyone asked if we're going to get a hotel choice?

I just wanted to say Congratulations to all the winners of trips (no matter where you won them). It's really a lot of fun seeing each day if another DISer won and hearing the stories.

It just occured to me - I sort of "won" my trip for Leap Day too. I knew my Mom (an AP holder and retired Southwest airlines employee who flies for free) was going down for Leap Day; she goes pretty frequently.A few weeks ago she called me in the evening and said she found an airfare sale that was too good to pass up and she'd buy my plane ticket for me. The hotel would cost the same whether she was alone or if I joined her. She also knew I have 2 old park tickets waiting around for any trip that isn't a package requiring the purchase of tickets.
So, thinking of it this way, I "won" my trip to go to MK on Leap Day too!

Boy, do I know how to make lemonade or what (not that there were any lemons involved in this story)!

I don't think any of us know when they are doing the drawings. The rules say on Wednesday for the previous week, but according to the dates the winners have mentioned, that is not necessarily true.

Absolutely! I've entered some big contests for the past couple of years, I never won but I knew eventually I would. Have faith in yourself and never give up!
