Check in General Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee

HI

Can anyone tell me General Mitchell Airport check in. I have a flight that leaves at 6:40 a.m. How early do I need to get there?

It depends on your airline. Just call them and see when their counter people will be there. On the average, most will be there by 5:00 but it is best to check your own airline to be sure. Have a good flight!

DH travels a little for work and usually has a 7am flight. He gets there around 6am and has no problems. He only has a carry on and is alone. If it were me with kids I'd get there 90 mintues early. I agree call your airline an see what they advise. I'd rather have to sit and wait then miss my flight.

With kids we usually try for 90 minutes early. Last time we were there security was pretty backed up. I usually check in online to save time.

We were there 2 weeks ago for a 8 am flight. It took us 45 minutes to get through security.W
e were glad we got there 90 minutes ahead of flight.

We always arrive between 1 1/2 - 2 hours early. I would much rather have extra time and be able to read the paper or my book and relax than to be constantly checking the time and rushed.

We typically fly out of Mitchell (and will be one week from today! ). If it's just DH and I, we tend to cut it a little closer.

If we have the kids with us, we get there in plenty of time.

Next Friday, our flight leaves at 9:50. We have a two hour drive and are leaving home at 6am.

We have bags to check (check in is downstairs) and will also park in the Super Savers lot, which requires you waiting for a shuttle and bringing it in to the airport. So that all takes a little extra time.

I would say no later than 5am or 5:15am.
