Check in first before booking activities

It's been a while, will someone please remind me...you have to go through the whole online check in process before port adventures, and adult dining opens up for booking, is that correct? Or can you go straight to booking stuff first, then check in later?

You can book your port adventures/dining/etc. first if that is your priority. You do not have to complete your check-in to be able to book those things.

I do my activities first, especially if I am after a cabana on CC.

You can do book activities 1st, but you must fill in most of the checkin stuff (espec payment) before you can get a PAT.

One added note. Though you must do the online check-in stuff to get the PAT, you don't have to fill in all of the details in the first pass. You just need to answer all the questions in some manner to get to the PAT. Some things (flight numbers etc.) you might not even know yet. In my case, my sons passports hadn't come yet, so I couldn't put in their numbers. But if you say "arriving by car" "paying cash" and "birth certificate" for those choices instead of airplane, credit card and passport, you can get to the PAT, pick your favorite and then go back and change your answers once you have looked up all of the details. Just don't forget to do so, as it really will save you (and everyone behind you in line) a lot of time at check in on the morning of your cruise.

To tack onto this, what specific time of day? I know 3/11 is when I can book dining and activities, but I also have a major work meeting that day. Hoping for once it opens at 6am EST or something like that!
