Just need a little feedback to see if what I'm thinking is about right.

Our flight arrives at 9:30 am (monday oct 22). We're staying at POP.
What time do you think we'll actually get to the resort using the magical express or whatever the bus from the airport is called? (I'm guessing it'll take an hour or so, so 10:30-11ish?) Is check-in time about 3pm? Chances of getting in our room much earlier?

Friday our flight leaves at 7:45pm Fri. What time is check out? (11am?) Then if I remember right, the resort stores our luggage for us. What time will we have to be back to get on the bus to go to the airport? (I'm thinking around 5:45?)

Thanks

The bus leaves your resort 3 hours approx. before your flight. You can always check in when you arrive at your resort. If your room isn't ready they will store your luggage and you can go off to a park.

mrsannb,

Your guesstimate is right-on for arrival ... the average time is 70 minutes from exiting the airplane to arriving at the resort.

Your DME (Disney's Magical Express) pick-up for the ride from resort to airport will be scheduled 2.75 or 3 hours before your flight time.

When you get to Pop you can check in and receive your Key to the Kingdom card, which is your room key, your park passes and your Dining Plan credits if you are on the DDP. Your room will most likely not be ready. You will be given a number to call later in the day to check on when your room becomes avaialble. Once it is ready you can go straight to your room, no need to go back to the check in desk. You can store your carry ons with Bell Services. Your checked luggage will be delivered directly to your room by Magical Express.
You can head off to the Park and enjoy your day. We do this each trip.
Have a Great Time

I think the info for ME says to plan to be at your resort about 2 hours after your flight lands. But we got into Orlando on the first afternoon of free dining in August. The line for ME was absolutely HUGE, snaked all around the airport. I figured it would take forever before we were actually in the World, but I think we were in our room a little less than 2 hours after we landed. So assuming it's not going to be that crowded, 1 to 1 1/2 hours is a good estimate. As far as being picked up at your hotel for your return trip, they do pick up about 3 hours before departure time.
