Hi...Iam so happy that we have just booked our flight tickets from the Uk for next July!:goodvibes

We are hoping to get BWV at 7 months for the first week...we want a 1 bed but won't have enough points for our first night (a Friday) in a 1 bed so hope to book a studio for that night then move the next day.

So..can I go down to the lobby and check us into our 1 bed at 7am..(i know it won't be ready) whilst everyone still sleeps in the studio?...Can we hang out in the studio till say 10am...will we have to wait till we leave the room to check in for our other room?

Also..what time does BW bakery open?....i can see me and dh sneaking out for breakfrast early!:)

Yes you can check in before you check out and you can stay in the studio until 11:00.

The bakery opens early but I'm not sure of the time.

If it's worth it to you, you can buy up to 24 points for a 1 time use from Disney at for around $15, so you don't have to move.

Yeah...I just discovered this on another thread...very interesting!:)..Is this easy to do?
I was planning on 6 nights BWV then 2 nights vero inn room then 5 nights either OKW studio or VWL studio..If I go with the VWL then I will need 9 points off disney IF I decide to add an extra night to BWV..hmmm

I would LOVE not having to move but its a LOT of points for that first weekend night...and we might not arrive till evening..but hopefuly earlier !

What to Do??:surfweb:

Not a problem...We did this on a couple of our visits. We stayed in a studio on our first night (Sat.) we didn't have enough points and I didn't want to borrow or rent. It was a pretty easy move. We just didn't unpack until we checked into our 1dbrm.

Not only that but you could also book the extra night on a cash reservation as well and Member Services will link the reservation. We did this last year and it worked out fine. Also, do the math and figure out how much the room would cost on a DVC cash discount vs. the amount of money it would cost to buy the extra points thru Disney. One could be significantly less then the other.
