Hello,

We are now within our 30 day mark, and as I reserve our Fast Passes each day I see that the passes for Avatar Flight of Passage are long gone.

I was told to check every day (especially in the evenings) in hopes of FP cancellations for that (when the queue is full the wait could be 4-5 hours and Touringplans says its not worth that)

Since I already have alternate FP reservations, I am wondering if it is possible to check availability for Avatar Flight of Passage without loosing our existing FP reservations that day?

The computer system knows that we have reservations already to alternate attractions and so it won't let me check availability of any additional attraction (presumably until I give up our current reservations).

Bottom Line: Is there a way to check availability without the risk of loosing our current FP reservations?

Choose a FP and click modify. That way you can search. You won't lose any FP unless you confirm a new choice.

Post #2 of the FP FAQ Addendum:
Instructions for Checking Availability

You don't have to Cancel when checking availability, rebooking a new park, or when park hopping. Simply follow the instructions below.

From the app:
~ tap the "+"
~ select guests
~ select date and new park
~ continue beyond any warnings
~ you won't lose anything if just checking availability. After checking, back out of the window and your original FP+ remain.
~ when you confirm a FP+ for the new park, that's when any original FP+ are replaced.

Checking Availability for Same Park - Same Day
From the App
~ from a booked FP, choose "Modify"
~ scroll through selections to see availability
~ original FP remains intact if a new ride is not chosen
* The system only shows ride availability for time slots that are not blocked by original FP Return Windows.

Hi,

I followed the instructions from Mesaboy but it says "Not So Fast! FastPass+ Limit Reached. These Guests have reached their maximum FastPass+ allotment." This won't allow me to continue unless I "Remove Guest from Party." Do I remove all guest from party to continue?

No, don't do that.

The steps above are for checking FPs at a different park for a day where you already have FPs booked elsewhere.

If you are checking for a day where you don't have any FPs booked, you must Cancel a day of booked FPs in order to search for a completely "new" park day.
