Cheated? What should I do?

After returning from DL a couple of weeks ago I had an extra pirate room and offered to trade it by starting a thread on the trade board. I received a pm from someone who offered a stitch hat for it. I was surprised that someone would offer so much, but they seemed to know what they were doing and it turned out that they are a community leader on vmk. We met on vmk and since they are a community leader I decided to trust them by sending a pm with the room code. After entering the code this person repeatedly told me that when they entered the code they only received 1 credit and did not receive a room. I then sent the following email to vmk (name deleted to protect the guilty):

>I went to DL Friday night and completed the new pirate quest. I was able to
enter the code for the new pirate room and now have it. My father also got a code (9cvk z6bt 5m5c ubbw)for the new pirate room and on Saturday morning I traded it to *********** (who is a community leader). She told me that she had entered the code and instead of receiving the room she only received 1 credit. Since she is a community leader I believe that she is telling me the truth. So, may I please have a room code that works? Thanks

I just received the following response from vmk:

Thank you for contacting us. We checked the code that you gave to CL_*********** and it was redeemed for a room on 8/5. She did not receive a single credit for it, but did get the room. No further action is required on our part at this time.

Based on this response from vmk, it appears that I have been lied to and cheated by someone I met on this discussion board. Is there anything I can do about it?

First drop the Moderators a PM about this person we can not do anything about anything unless people report these things to us.
