I just got an email for 25% off at cheaptickets and got a booking (cancelled my previous 20% off for late may/early June at RPR). It says first 200 bookings. Promo code is GOBBLE25. hope this helps someone!

Thanks for the info. I checked it out and I could save $70 over my currently booked Orbitz reservation with a 20% discount. Did you have to cancel your other reservation first? I'm pretty sure that Orbitz and Cheaptickets are part of the same company, so I didn't know if you had to do it in a particular order. I could just see me cancelling my Orbitz, only to not have the Cheaptickets one available any longer, only to not have the Orbitz one available any longer. Eek! Probably not worth the $70.

Make new ressie, then cancel old. It worked just fine for our trip a few weeks back.

I'm a little nervous:bitelip: about using CheapTickets, but I love 25% off! If it works out, I just saved a lot of money! Thanks so much! Any reassurance about cheaptickets vs hard rock ressies would be greatly appreciated!

I made new reservations first and had no problem cancelling old. I've heard no bad things about them from the DISboards!

Nothing to worry about. I've been reading about Cheaptickets for quite some time on the DIS. People use it for WDW trips, too, not just Universal. This might reassure you:

Why are you nervous? The downside is you have to pay when you reserve . . . not uncommon . . . and you have to cancel several days ahead of time to get a refund.

Be sure to check to the Lowes website to see what the room costs with no discount. My non discounted rate for June 2015 was cheaper than the Orbitz rate with discount.
