I got a great deal today on CheapTickets.com. I got our CL garden view room at the Poly for $408. +tax. I used promo code CHEAP20. Plus I'll get an additional 7.5% back from BeFrugral, since I booked thru their website. I wanted to share this since I've gotten so much valuable information from everyone here. The other thing was Travelocity didn't have any CL rooms available for my dates..so I cancelled my Graden view room with them.

Also, if anyone is looking for a CL WL room, Travelocity had them for around $370. before taxes but after BeFrugal and the Hot13 promo code.

I'm so excited now!!

For the first week of October I have the following reservations:

Pop 6 nights for $537, includes tax.
POFQ 6 nights for $857, includes tax.
Not sure which of the above we'll use yet.

1 night at AKL for $220, includes tax.

Plus 6 1/2% cash back, up to $30.

Some of the All Stars are coming up at $66/night+tax with the code.

Not sure why this isn't getting more attention, it's been awhile since I've seen Disney room prices this low. We did a similar stay for a convention back in April-room price through the conference was $195, our cost using a 3rd party and discounts was $142 at the same resort.

I am looking at this and ant get the prices nearly this low. Are you using the cheap20 code or something else?

I went through ebates where they also give a cash rebates for going to websites through their site.
I first checked prices at travelocity and then also cheap tickets. Travelocity had a (13% off code and cheap tickets had a 20% off code (these cycle in and out, just google what you can find that is current).

I then checked to see when of these sites got the biggest cash rebates. Read the fine print. It turned out travelocity garnered the biggest cash rebate and even though cheap tickets was $161 less due to the bigger coupon, I went with travelocity because they have a price guarantee. I filled out their form, and eventually had to attach a screen shot of the booking I almost made with cheap tickets, showing the rate with the coupon. (at first they denied me but I persisted and they have now approved it since I could prove cheap tickets had indeed a better rate).

I now have GF room for 305 per night once I calculate the cash rebate. I also found a phone number where I can speak to an american travelocity person. She checked and gave me the actual disney confirmation which will eventually be in Disney's system.

What is the phone # to speak to an American Travelocity person? I've been calling and asking to get connected to a US call center. Thanks!
Anyone bought tix, too, or just a room? If you bought tix, have uou been able to link them in MDE? If so, how? Or...have you been able to do FASTPASS+ with them?

I'm using CHEAP20. The rates were $149 at Coronado, $152 at POFW, $182 at PORR, with Caribbean sold out. CHEAP20 moved those rates to $119/$122/$148+tax.

Just curious how long it took to receive your refund from Travelocity? Was it before or after the trip?

Thank you for this post!! I went through ebates to cheaptickets and between the two saved around $70 on our three day December booking to AoA Cars Suite (room only). I wouldn't normally go the suite route but my brother is a mechanic, so the Cars Suite is very appropriate.

Previously had the three days booked with Disney at $817 (with tax) using my AAA rate. Now $754.58 (with tax) plus another $9 or so off for the ebate.

Thanks bunches! And while it'll tighten the belt this month to have to pay the whole thing immediately, it'll be nice not to have a hotel bill after our stay.

Has anyone who booked through Cheaptickets.com been able to link their reservation on My Disney Experience? I can't find a Disney reservation number on my Cheaptickets reservation confirmation. I called Cheaptickets.com customer service but they are completely clueless. :confused3 They had no idea what I was talking about and kept trying to give me the numbers to call Disney. They even suggested I call the hotel directly! I knew better but I did call just the Disney reservations number just to see if they could at least confirm that I had a reservation, but they couldn't tell me anything (as I suspected) because it was a third party booking. Ugh, I will have to call Cheaptickets back and try to get someone who knows what they're doing. If I wasn't saving such a ton of money I would cancel and rebook with Disney to avoid dealing with these people.

Disney should be able to do it. I've read of people getting confirmation numbers from Disney from third party sites, and I was able to do it myself for my September trip through hotels.com. The normal CM I talked to gave me a confirmation number that totally didn't work, but when I called back again, I got transferred to a tech person who set it all up.

It is hard to find the number, but if you open your confirmation email, click on "trip details" in the hotel information box. This will open your browser to you cheaptickets booking information. At the bottom of the hotel information box, click on the line saying "show detailed hotel reservation information". There you'll see the Disney confirmation number under the name of your hotel. Good Luck! This number worked perfectly and I was able to put it into the Disney site and my details all showed up perfectly.

Just curious how long it took to receive your refund from Travelocity? Was it before or after the trip?

About one day after I submitted the form, I got an email back that said after review, they were unable to give the refund. :confused3 They asked if I could attach a screen shot of the rate.

I went back to cheap tickets and low and behold...the code I HAD been using was no longer valid! :scared1:

SO...I googled and found a new code also giving 20% off and filled out a cheap ticket site form as if I was going to book, then did a screen shot. I also found the original email where I HAD booked (then canceled) and emailed both of these to customer service.

I checked my Amx and saw cheap tickets had credited me right away for the original booking so that was good. Just waiting on travelocity to ok the 161 difference in price. The following day I got an email that it had been approved. I also called and spoke with an english speaker res. who checked the Disney wholesaler site and gave me my Disney confirm number. I haven't checked my credit card yet, but I have the email and if it doesn't show up, I'll do a charge back with AMX. I am trusting it will show up, though.

Was it all a headache?

Yes, a bit.

Was it worth it to get $161 back in matching price guarantee and also $198 in ebates money? You betcha! :thumbsup2

Did you link tickets, or just your hotel ressie? I booked through Travelocity. Hotel ressie came up automatically, but I can't get tix to link...even after at least 8 phone calls....grrrr

Thanks for the information. I went ahead and booked the other night, and received the denial email from Travelocity this morning. I just sent the screenshot of the lower price, so hopefully they approve soon!

Sorry, just hotel. I have an AP, so tickets aren't an issue for me. Are you just talking to the normal CMs or have they transferred you a tech person? After struggling with linking our hotel reservation and the tech CM being the one who was able to do it with no problem, I'm a big fan!

Thanks NFGGIRL, but my hotel confirmation number says 1VFLUH. Of course, this does not work. I am surprised to hear that Disney would give someone a number, both Disney CMs I spoke to said they couldn't because it was a third party booking. I have to call Cheaptickets again, but need to do it when I have a large block of time to kill:(

I booked a few weeks ago with cheaptickets. The confirmation number is in your email confirmation. It is not a long code like disney directly gives. It will be a mix of numbers and letters 6 characters long. It is in the section marked "Hotel" right under the hotel name and above the hotel address.

The only thing is that the MDE app on mobile has problems recognizing new reservations that are not directly from disney sometimes. I went to the web page on my laptop and had no problem adding it. It showed up in MDE immediately after.

That is exactly what mine look like. I booked 2 different reservations for a split stay. Added both on my laptop fine, was not able to add via my app on my ipad.
