Cheapo Phones

Maybe a stupid question, can anyone tell me if those el cheapo prepaid phones come with chargers?

Was looking at Tracfone and I know they are sometimes reconditioned phones - (as long as they can make and receive a call, thats all i wants)

We got two tracfone prepaid cheapies at Super Target in Fl. From memory tey were less than $30 each and came with a wall charger, handsfree and car charger.

I'm pretty sure this is the one we got.

Thats what I am after -

I am thinking I will order and have them delivered to POP - This is the trouble having WDW as our first stop and staying on site - We are prisoners of Disney! Did they sell anything onsite like this - they could probably put a Mickey head on them - sell them for $50 and I reckon they would sell thousands!

Did they work OK for you?

We ordered some nifty flip phones through Amazon, they cost about $40 and came complete with chargers etc and the SIM cards with about $20 of prepaid credit, which lasted until the second last day we were there. My nephews had them plugged in, switched on, activated and ready to go in about 5 minutes. They could make and take calls and you could also access your web based email which was really handy. The kids used them all the time to call each other in the parks, down at the pool etc.

I still have them, they are Samsung AT&T Go phones, model SGHA167.

I'd recommend.

That is exactly my feeling too! Also, I know the girls are going to see all that is sold at WDW and want to spend their money there and all the while I'll be saying to wait until the next week when we can hit the factory shops and Disney outlet! However, what's the bet they see something they love, listen to me and wait to get it at a Disney outlet, and of course the outlet doesn't have it

I recall last year I tried and tried to look online for this as someone else told me about it but for the life of me couldn't find it. Every time I went online to look the stupid computer kept diverting me to the Australian Virgin website. Most annoying.

I've noticed my computer doing this more and more, even when I reset the cache.

Because I'm IN Australia, doesn't mean I always want to look at Australian wbsites.

The ones I bought, although $40, had a SIM in the pack with about $20 prepaid credit. You just had to instal and activate.

Pity all the apps in my iPhone are useless now.

My sister is giving me her phones from her trip. Hope it's easy to recharge. Can you do it online? I'm a Disney prisoner too.

What a great idea! Is there a way of having these sent to Aus so that we know our number before going so it could be given to airlines etc as appoint of contact?
