Cheapest you have ever stayed at Disney

$199 - Poly (AP Rate) in 2003.

Back in 1995, with the old Magic Kingdom Club Card, I got the Poly at $179 (with tax).

Those are the two times we've been able to afford the Poly. And that's why I always boast that I've NEVER paid rack rate there! :rotfl:

Woodsview at the WL for $139/night in summer 2005. :goodvibes We then got upgraded to Courtyard view.:cheer2:

$125 per night on the 50% off AP rate for the Polynesian water front concierge view.

ahhh... those were the days :)

Wow - some really good rates here. I have always booked a package during a promotion. Here's my history

2003 2 adults, 1 jr, 1 child 7 nights at POR with premium ticket (no dining) - $1700

2005 2 adults, 2 jrs 7 nights at CBR with base ticket and free dining $1800

2006 1 adult, 2 jrs 6 nights at POP with free dining and 7 day park hopper/water parks $1300 (approximately) MINUS $125 in AAA rebates

upcoming - 2007 1 adult/1 child at ASMu 6 nights with free dining and 7 day base ticket $1006 minus $100 in AAA rebates (maybe more).

2006 7 nights at Saratoga Springs studio $990 (rented DVC points)

What are the AAA rebates? I booked free dining with AAA but they said no additional discount. Did I book with a bad agent or am I missing something?

On our first family trip in 1999, we were staying at the WL (about $180 a night, I believe). :goodvibes We were having a very magical vacation. On our next to last day we came back to the room midday for a break and there was a message waiting for us. It was called the Stampede Special and offered us to extend our stay at $99/night at the WL. :cheer2: Since we had driven and were having the most fabulous time, we stayed an extra night and went to River Country on that last day! :thumbsup2 DD5 actually got to hold Minnie's hand and dance the hokey pokey with her at River Country. :cutie: Pluto and Goofy also showed up at the WL pool one afternoon, jumped in the pool and went down the slide. We have pictures of Goofy pulling DD around the pool as she bobs around in her life jacket. Priceless. :goodvibes We just had oodles of Pixie Dust on this trip and that's why we're now addicts!:rotfl: :rotfl: Has anyone else heard of this or had an offer like this during their stay?

I do remember reading of others getting the stampede special. All I want to know is how did the characters go in the pool without ruining those costumes??? Must be an amazing memory.

The characters were wearing special waterproof swimming costumes. They had apparently been spending time on the lagoon being pulled around in a rubber raft by another boat. We saw them several times out on the water during our trip. We have never seen this happen again since, though.:sad2:

That must have been really cool.

I can't remember my cheapest stay but I do remember my cheapest ticket. Well it was a book of tickets for MK for $7.50
