Cheapest way tp Universal Studios

We are a family of four. Want to know if we should rent a car for a day or two or take taxis or shuttle?

We have planned two days at USF and will be renting from National at the Car Care Center. We are paying (with Emerald club membership and AAA discount) ~ $150 for a compact for two days, with pre-paid fuel. I would check out quotes for whatever rental company you want to use and compare that to the est. cost of a taxi or shuttle (I believe Mears is $15/pp, each way). I know with National the web site is pretty user friendly and you can modify or cancel ressies with little or no difficulty.

How do I get to the Car Care Center from Wilderness Lodge? Is it free?

There is a complimentary shuttle. Just call your rental company the night before to set it up. They will also shuttle you back to the resort after you return the car.
