I have my reservations at HRH and my tickets - now all I need is the least expensive way to get there! Our trip is Oct 11 - 18. I realize we have a ways to go, but if anyone out there has information now or at a later date PLEASE let me know! I would greatly appreciate it!
Last year we drove and had a nightmare while we were there! The day before we were schedule to return home, we had major car problems! All in all it cost over $850 plus a lost day of vacation enjoyment because we were have to deal with trying to get our SUV ready for the trip home. It all ended safe and well - but it sure taught me a lesson. We have been on many trips and (luckily) have never had any car problems, so this was a first. I had thought about how awful it would be to experience car problems during vacation when you are so far from home. But until you actually go through the experience you cannot imagine just how bad it can be!!
So I have decided we are either flying (from STL or Nashville) to Orlando or renting a car/van/SUV locally to drive. That case if there is car problems - someone else can deal with it! We have flown from STL to MCO and from BNA to MCO over the past years being able to get decent fares eventually. But with all that has happened with the airlines, I am wondering if there will be any discounts on fares. Any suggestions would help me. Thanks!
