Would like some input... from your personal experience, where did you find the cheapest way to get tickets for both Disney and/or Universal? I really have to do research, but thought you guys could get me started. How do you all get your tickets??

there are a few options. There's AAA - for some reason they're a little cheaper at the AAA south in Florida - there's a few locations around Disney area. The advantage to this is that they give you the diamond parking pass which allows you to park closer to the entrance. you can see the prices on the aaa south website - just click on tickets and attractions button.

You could also buy from Undercover Tourist (go to their website) and they mail to you.

Also, I checked out Entertainment Book discount - if you have one go to their online offers and you'll see that you can buy 4 day hopper and get 3 days free and some other choices. The price is within $3 of undercover tourist so if you don't have the book - no big deal.

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Post #20, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature.

quick, go to www.mousesavers.com and sign up for their newsletter. It comes out once a month on the 15th. They always have a DISCOUNTED link for Undercovertourist for tickets. The link through the email is cheaper than just going to the website itself. But you must sign up to get the newsletter before the 15th or you will have to wait until next month.

Undercover tourist was who we went through and shipping was super fast. Very professional. But you have to sign up for the mousesavers newsletter and go through the link printed in there. You can not just go to undercover tourist and get the deal, you must go through the link. I was a little leery at 1st cause I had never heard of UT but it worked out and I'm very happy :)

:woohoo:Undercover tourist is great. I just purchased tickets from them for my Thanksgiving trip. I ordered on Wednesday and had the tickets in my hand on Monday. I give then a big thumbs up! :woohoo:

Undercover Tourist is probably the cheapest for regular tickets.

If your kids might be interested in doing a 3 hour educational class and you can find a group to join for your time period, you could do the YES program. They don't have open enrollment for your time period, but people are forming groups--just needs to be 10 or more kids. The tickets are about 40% off regular ticket prices and you can get up to 10 day tickets. Once bought, the tickets are not upgradable and they are dated.

Note that if you join a private group at a YES program, you can only purchase up to ONE additional ticket over the one for the student.

However, for any open-enrollment YES program, you can purchase as many tickets as you wish.

Note that tickets purchased via YES cannot be upgraded, and they are only good for a short time before/after the program.
