cheapest way to get married in disney

Sorry to here about your divorce, he doesn't sound like a very good person to me. Your better off without him!! My divorce went very smoothly, we weren't arguing over money and I didn't ask him for child support because I knew how he felt about our daghter and I knew he would take care of her no matter what. So we remained good friends throughout the whole thing. And he did give me money anyway after the divorce, he would just give me a little each month, and we let our daughter decide where she wanted to sleep each night. So I guess not all divorces are hell, but I think most of them are from what I hear.
Well we acually decided now to get married in PA a couple of days before we leave for disney. We are getting married next monday the 6th and we leave for AKL on the 12th of feb. We will just make that our honeymoon since we never took a honeymoon the first time because our daughter was only 3 months old. We are sooo excited!!!!
Thanks for sharing with me!

Have a wonderful time - AKL looks great - haven't stayed there, just visited. We too are having a small wedding at home and honeymoon in Disney but not until October. Don't forget to get a honeymoon pin from guest services in the park and wear wedding ears!

OK, back on topic. I'd have to look for it, but there was a similar thread awhile ago on a different forum (might have been the DL forum) and a couple reported that they got married on the Storybook Canal Boats. They were very low-key, had a wedding party that was the same size as the boat capacity, had timed how long the ride went and the only real wild card was CM response. CM's response was "Looks like we're celebrating something special here...would you like me to hold the camcorder for you?" Yes, there is a risk of an exciting day (and a story to tell later) but I think if you're low-key about it and not in anyone's way, there's more than a few opportunities to have a meaningful wedding without paying a gazillion dollars.

Cinderella, what is the honeymoon pin from guest services? I've never heard of it.

i read about the pin on this board - think it is called the honeymoon pin or just married pin. I'm sure it said you get it at guest services but maybe someone else might know for sure. Apparently if you wear it, sometimes you get freebies and special treatment - eg, seated away from children in a restaurant etc.
