Hi everyone,

What is the CHEEPEST way to do WDW?

What is the cheepest you have ever done it?

I am hoping to book another holiday for 2008 though we can only do it we see something very cheap! :scared:

Please help!

Probably the 1st time we went many moons ago!! Last minute fly/drive for £199 or for extra £50 you got motel as well for 14 nights.
It gave us our taste for WDW, though don't get bargains nowadays as tied to school holidays.

If you're flexible as to when to go I've often seen last minute fly drives for between £99 and £199 per person. In fact I had a couple do 3 weeks last Nov, leaving the day after paying £119 each including car!

I agree that a last minute deal would probably be your best bet.. The later you can bear to leave it the better! If you know your budget keep checking the flight and hotel and/or package websites til you see one you can't refuse ;) I saw some excellent last minute deals on MyTravel's website a couple of months ago.. Not much over £1000 for 2 adults flying from Manchester staying a week onsite at Disney (AOA at a value resort) It wasn't much more for 2 weeks either.
I'm semi-hoping to do something like this next year as my sister really wants to go but since i'm going this year it'd have to be quite a cheap deal for me to be able to go again so soon (would usually leave it at least 2 years)

if you buy an AP this holiday and use it with in the 12 months this is a good way to save some money
you can get good discounts on hotel rooms with these also
just find cheap flight and you are all set

we done this a few years ago
cheap fly drive £109 each , no tickets to get , AP discount on al stars sport room $350 . 24 hours to talk hubby into it and get packed and find a babysitter for the week ( thanks Mum )

one of our best holidays ever

Definitely go 'out of season'!
TCD were doing cheap deals a few months ago.. fly drives from London £99!
I'd love to find something that cheap when we have to go in school holidays Lol!!

Getting a cheap deal all depends on timing. I don't necessarily agree with last minute deals - sometimes you can get one, but sometimes you can't.

I'd set my dates and literally just keep looking at various web sites regularly. A couple of years ago, I got 8 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott (LBV) for just £200 through Airline Network. The deal disappeared the same evening. It was several months before we were due to fly out there. Its just about being in the right place at the right time.

Good Luck and Happy Planning!!

Tracy

Thank you,

I think what I am going to do is decided roughly when we want to go (oct, Nov, Dec 08 ish time) and just keep checking.

May I ask if we book a flydrive do we have to use the car?

Why is it that flydrives are cheaper then flights? Am I missing something?

Fly drives often look cheaper than flight only prices, but be careful, when you add the insurance on (which you usually have to do with a UK tour operator), they often work out more expensive!

:) If you plan on not using the car, just don't add the insurance.

Are you wanting a hire car or not?
