Cheapest way to do US/IoA for 1 day

We are staying at Disney but ds9 is desparate to try US/IOA. Are main issue is time, we want to do 1.5 days at seaworld and want to try do US/IoA for a day (if pos). We plan on doing a split holiday ie Dis/US/int dr in a few years time. 2day/2park with free day & children free is a good buy, but we would waste 2 days. Is there any that give you a non expiring option.

You can buy a non-expiring 2 day ticket at the gate. The price is $87 plus tax for adults and $77 plus tax for child's. Make sure you specify that you want the non-expiring ticket though. You can't get that with a child's free ticket though, so you would have to purchase a child's ticket.

How many days are you visiting for?

It sounds like you could make this your Universal trip right now, and visit Disney as needed. Look into booking an onsite hotel, then you could drive over to Disney for the evenings since they stay open until 10pm.

Most parents keep taking their kids back to Disney because they are brainwashed and don't know any better. They figure they must spend a week at Disney no matter what and the kids go along with it. Then the kids find out about the thrill rides at Universal and Sea World when they turn 8-9 just like yours, and they want to go. It's great to visit Disney, but when kids reach the height requirements for the coasters, they want something new.

I'd read the hotel board and look into making Universal your base camp, and then visiting Disney for a couple nights. I bet that deep down inside, the kid doesn't even care that much about Disney.

I have a 2 day non-expiring child ticket burning a hole in my pocket. Now I can buy 3 other tickets to match. We will spend 1 day this summer and save the other day for the future.

I just thought Universal has stopped selling non expiring tickets.

Thanks guys. Phamton - that really helps, do you know if there is a non expire pass that covers Seaworld as well. Robvia-My ds9 has only been to Disney & Seaworld once so still loves it. We are staying on site with ddp so it's not an option for us to stay at US.

Phamton - can you get get 2 adult non expiry tickets & a ch free expiring one, at the gate. Next visit ds will be counted as an adult.

The non-expiring tickets can only be purchased at the parks. The child's free tickets is only an online special.

I'd purchase the 2 day tickets online and then go to guest services to see if they can upgrade them to the non-expiring tickets. I'm not sure if they can as it just depends on what kind of tickets you got and what you paid for them. If you purchased the $85 tickets, the upgrade would be more than just $10 and you would also lose your free days on those tickets.

to me seaworld is a one day park event.

why not add that extra half day to uo?

better yet, stay at UO on site and take the transportation shuttle to seaworld for a day.

you will like pofq at disney.
check out universal for the day on the upcoming trip.

also, walk over to hrh and check the lobby, pool and grounds out.
you can do the same with the other 2 hotels if you have the time.
that way, you will have a better idea which hotel you might want to book for on your next trip.
