We will be taking our kids (10, and 7) on a cruise in March. We have decided to fly--first for the kids--they don;t know. Anyway our plans are to arrive the morning of the cruise -- go to the ship, when the cruise is over we are going to BCV for a day or 2 to relax and then go to the airport. What is the cheapest way to do this--from airport to ship-to disney and back to airport. Thanks.

I recommend Florida Tours. They are a board sponsor and Andy couldn't be nicer! You can get a discount coupon from their website.

I believe all the limo companies run about the same, give or take, but since they sponsor the boards, it is nice to support them.

cheapest way is to rent a car one way each day. there are one way drop points with no fee in florida. checkout all the big rental car names and get a good quote. make sure you come in early enough so as not to run into any problems, day early is always best. DCL transfers will run you around $200, but you will not have to drive and that's always good on vacation. limo's are also excellent and will run you about the same as a DCL transfer package. Artshuttle's seems to be cheap and they use vans. go to the website and they give prices on there.

I just wanted to mention that if you are not booking your air through DCL, you may want to fly in the day before. It can be risky to fly the day of a cruise. Anything can happen and it can be quite stressful. If I am booking the air myself, which is usually much cheaper, we fly in the day before.

Just my two cents.

Thanks for the replies. We do want to arrive a day early, but with hubbies job we are unsure of that for now. We are kind of scared to book anything this moment. He does not know what that week will be like for a couple of months. He films for our college their football and basketball games. That week is usually a conference week---hopefully we will have the schedule soon.

Rent a car!!!!
you can rent a car from budget with the Walmart discout code for around $40 each way. We did this with our family of 4 last sept.
Pick up at MCO and drop off in Cocoa Beach and they shuttle you to the ship. Then they pick you up at the dock when you return.
