Cheapest transportation for Disney World/Cruise combo

We are going to Disney World for 7 days and then going on a Royal Caribbean cruise for 7 days after Disney. There are 2 adults, a 14 month and a 6 year old. I'm thinking about luggage, cost and ease of getting around. We are staying at the Poly resort. I found a minivan for $300 for the 14 days.. We obviously wont use the vehicle while we are on the cruise and there is an additional charge to park the car at the port, so it's like wasted spending.. However, I'm thinking the transfers for us might close to that for us?

What's your opinion on the best route to go for this?
