Hi folks! Haven't been here for a while, but am considering a DLP trip in Oct, but prices are very (surprisingly) high!

Any tips for the cheapest time to visit? We have been in Sept at reasonable cost, but can't seem to find a good deal at the moment. Is it because all prices still reflect the fact that it's summer hols?

Hi, if you stay off site you can get it pretty cheap in October - obviously this is best for people with annual passports - although CE Multi have good offers on the annual passes with a free kids one for every adult so maybe you could price up that option? How many days and what dates approx. and I could take a quick look for you if you want?

The flash sales seem to happen on a regular basis, I've noticed that they usually happen just after the end of an offer. For example the current winter offer of 4 nights for the price of 2 closes on 20th August; I would expect a flash sale to follow soon afterwards. To be honest the best flash sale offer I've seen is 50% off which amounts to the same as the current 4 nights for 2.

If the October prices are too high have you thought about early November instead? You can get 4 nights at the Cheyenne from 12th November for £398 for two adults, whereas two weeks earlier it would be £1026 :scared1:

Halloween and the school holidays will be the reason for that ;)

OP - Try after the 12th of Nov as French schools go back that day or around the 15th of October as hoildays haven't started really for European countries :)

Otherwise cheapest times are Jan but it can be cold or inbetween the hoildays Feb/march but again weather is often very unpleasant

Many thanks for the replies.

We are 2 x adults and 2 x kids (age 3 & 6).
The "kids go free" offer seems to have gone. Any chance it might return?

How many days are you looking to go for? And can you go anytime in October?

Tricky question - The schools really get grumpy if we take the kids out of school, do we are really only looking for 2 nights, from Friday.

Best date is 12th Oct, but price is the biggest factor.

kids under 7 generally go free on all DLP's own packages.
But the prices for over-7s (and adults) can be expensive onsite until the winter months.

fantasy annual passes for all of you from promoparcs or cemultiavantages would cost around £210 (check that theres no blackout days on your dates for the fantasy pass on DLRPMagic annual pass page). Fantasy passes give you extra magic hours access regardless of where you are staying, and discounts on your restaurant and souvenir bills at DLP.

Then you could stay at one of the associated hotels (Kyriad, Explorers, Dream Castle or Magic Circus) through any one of many online travel agents (including their own websites) - check travelrepublic, expedia, alpharooms, trivago etc etc.

Well if you was willing to stay off site you could get 2 nights quite reasonable on the 12th Occtober, a few are below:

Residhome Prestige Val d Europe £140 (for all of you) this is 1 mile from Disneyland Paris

Kyriad Disneyland Resort Paris £188

Park & Suites Prestige Val D'Europe £216 (This looks really nice on the computer)

Explorers Hotel At Disneyland Paris £216

Magic Circus Hotel at Disneyland Paris or Vienna International Dream Castle Hotel £220

All prices are for bed and breakfast for the 4 of you. Next up would be ticket:

Using CE Multi you could get 2 adult fantasy passes (as your dates are not blackout dates) for 119 euros each and get the kids free! Look at these threads for help: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2970035 and http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2965092

This way you would still get early magic hours and you would get discount at shops, restaurants, BBWWS, etc.

Could be worth looking into maybe? Especially if you plan on visiting again within a year!? :goodvibes

Just want to add that if you decide to book offsite it's might be worth while booking with Expedia via Top Cashback as you'd get 10% cashback on the cost of your booking. For example if you book the Kyriad at £189 with Expedia and go to the site via Top Cashback you'd get back £18.9 taking the hotel cost down to £170 :thumbsup2

Thanks Guys, really great replies. Definitely plenty to look at there.

Being quite lazy, I've always booked on-site, but don't really have a problem with other hotel options.

CE Multi is new to me, but looks to have potential!

Thanks Shaun, you're all fab !

Staying off site isn't all that bad - they have shuttles that go to each hotel just like the Disney ones and they come quite regular! We stayed at the Magic Circus last time and loved it there! The themeing is so good for kids! :)

My iPhone said "Shaun" - predictive text strikes again ! Meant to say Guys !

So thanks guys, huge help. Much appreciated !
