cheapest relatively nice hotel (distance not an issue)

We just finished our visit and my daughter woke up throwing up at 5:30. She's still throwing up two and half hours later and we have an 8 hr drive home. We're in a rental house and have to check out today at 10am (can't extend here because it's already rented for tonight). So I'm looking for somewhere cheap but clean and decent to stay tonight and hope she's well enough to make it home tomorrow.
Since we aren't going back to the parks distance isn't a factor. I'm hoping someone has a recommendation for somewhere they've stayed and driven in from to save money. We're headed north on I-5 if that helps with any suggestions. Thanks!

If distance isn't an issue, I would look at hotels around Anheim. When we went to Disneyland two years ago, we stayed in Downey and drove in. Hotels are often cheaper the further away from the action you get. Bless her heart, I'm sorry she's sick. That's awful. :(

Garden Grove is relatively close, but tends to be less expensive than the area right around the park. I can't imagine you want to drive too far.

I would look at a site like hotels.com and see what's nearby.

I got to stay extra nights at anabella because DS caught a belly bug after a family reunion (it had gone through the family like wildfire but he got it days after the last person so I thought we were in the clear). He was SO sick. My brother lives in San Diego and we ended up going there after anabella bc the idea of a plane was so awful. (The illness was scarier in my uncles bc they are old, but DS got it the worst and it took the longest to resolve so he needed to recover fully)

Just saying I know what you're feeling.

If it isn't too late, Best Western Stovals, Best Western Plus Pavilions and maybe the Alpine Inn.

Thanks for the suggestions and support. I found some good options for Downey but by the time we were packed and loaded she had stopped throwing up and was playing. So we let her eat a little and she did okay. Her brother threw up halfway home but fortunately we were stopped for a potty break and he didn't get as sick as she was. So we made it home in one piece and now they can rest and recover at home for a few days.
I guess if they were going to be sick, better today than when we're supposed to be in the parks playing.

We have stayed at the Quality Inn in Placentia several times. It's nice, they have free breakfast and it's not too expensive.

You might try the Alpine Inn on Katella. Basic and clean. Kinda close.
