Besides the AP the Florida Residents Pass what is the cheapest way to get a room at POLY? ihave AAA and i think with that the room is listed at 280? Is there anyway i cant get it cheaper than that???????????????? PLEASE HELP!!

Yeah, it looks like for Value season 2006 the AAA price is $267.75 and thats not even including the 11.5% room tax.

Maybe with a little luck Disney will release some kind of discount for your vacation dates. ::MickeyMo

yeah we may be sticking with the WL which we love unless someone can convince me the POLY is worth the extra $100 a night.

I will convince you!!!

Are you travelling w/ kids, if so what are their ages. Based on this I may be able to convince you it's worth it.

yup 2 boys. they will be 5 and 7 at the time. the older one is disabled and god willing he will be walking short distances by then if not, no big deal, he has a handicapped stroller.

All we got for our January stay was the AAA rate as well...rougly 300 a night for a garden view in value season, ouch. Expensive. I was hoping better codes would come out but oh well.

WOW you have stayed at alot of different disney resorts. whats your favorite? and least?

Have you considered Beach Club. The kids will love the pool/water park and than you have really easy access to 2 parks.

We almost always get an overflow rate through Shades of Green (must be military or federal gov't employee). Anyway, we are going in early March this year due to DH having a conference. We will spend part of the time at the Swan (his conference) and the other part at the Poly, just because we love it so much and it is such a big part of our Disney memories. Here's the kicker - we have never paid more than $200 (including tax) to stay there and because we are in Peak season, we are looking at $435 (with AAA). I held out a long time saying I couldn't/wouldn't pay that, but now I'm thinking I might. I would do anything for a rate of $280 at this point!!!

We love the Poly. You can't beat it for convenience to the monorail, convenient parking, electric water parade. Good luck with your decision.
