Where is the best place to buy tickets for WDW and Universal? We have four kids plus grandparents coming so saving just a few dollars adds up!
If I buy now will they still be good for 2017? Our trip is in January

It depends on what you need (length of stay/hop or no hop/ water parks) but start by comparing undercover tourist and parksavers.
And yes, you can buy now and use later. At this point Disney has no expiration on unused tickets (that I know of...).

If you have a sam's club membership, their prices on Universal are very good.

Or there's USSSA. You don't have to be a sports team to buy the Universal tickets on there, I bought my 2 day park to park there and had no trouble, you just have to wait until they have tickets with an expiration date that covers your dates.

Interesting - I was unaware that Sam's has Universal tickets. I just went to their site to look for them, but don't see them at all. What might i be missing? ;)

I was just looking at the USSSA site and WOW are those prices great! I am, however a little leary of a couple things - It clearly states that tickets are restricted for use to USSSA members and their families. And it notes that the tickets will say "youth", but they are good for any age. You indicate you had not problems using them though. How recently was that? You weren't questioned at all to show any sort of membership card or anything when entering Universal with these tickets? Thank you!

A lot of people on these boards have used them with no issue, you can do a search on here and see the threads.
Someone even called and spoke to someone there and they told them it was fine to order through them.

We had no issues whatsoever using them in June and a year previously as well, the tickets do say youth, but require no ID or verification by Universal to use them. You just walk up and scan them like any other universal ticket.

This is FANTASTIC (not to be confused with FANTASMIC! lol) news! I'll just have to wait a bit until they are available for dates in early 2017 to order. Thank you. Thank you!

Your welcome! They are a great price. I would have used them again for our trip coming up in November but Universal sent me a unique offer code for buy one day park to park get two days free! So that ended up being the better deal for me.

WOW! That is Awesome! Good for you! I actually don't need them for my trip next month either as we bought AP's last fall - It is cheaper to do that even if you are only going to spend one day on two trips within a 365 day period so we went that route, since it also allows our hubby's (travel party is my husband, our daughter and son-in-law) to spend extra time there on our trips if they so desire since they really love the big thrill rides (daughter and I, not so much ;) I need them for a trip in March where it will just be my 74 years young Dad and I (he's never been to Disney or Universal - weeee!) so will need one for him.

Thanks again!

So how exactly are you guys ordering these tickets from the USSSA website? When I go on there and try to order it is asking for the player name, team name, etc and those are required fields.

It doesn't ask that for the Universal tickets, I've never bought the Disney tickets from them.

If I buy discounted WDW tix from wherever, can I upgrade to AP before I use? If so and not staying in hotel, where do I do that? Thanks!

I am not seeing any Universal Tickets. I see SeaWorld, Aquatica, Wet and Wild, and Fun Spot America under Theme Park Tickets. Am I looking in wrong place? Wondering if it is location specific?

Hmm, I leave the search on all activitiesand put in Orlando, FL my dates, and Universal tickets are the second thing that come up, first is sea world.
