My mom has decided to make the trip with us unfortunately she wont be able to afford the 4 day passes we got but she wants to try and go one day and I want her to have park hoppers to experience a little of both parks, i use getawaytoday.com but they dont have 1 day passes....any places that have them at a discount?

Unfortunately, discounts on 1-day tickets are rare.

The best current offers for 1-day tickets are:

1. If you know anyone that is an annual pass holder they can buy a 1-Day parkhopper ticket for $99 now through August 30th.

2. If you are a Target Red Card holder you can buy Disney Gift Cards and receive a 5% discount.

Target also offers a debit card they link to your bank account and still gives you 5% off. Easy to set up and definitely worth it for the savings in Disney GCs... BJs and Sams club also sell discounted gift cards if you or anyone you know is a member.

We are leaving sunday i doubt i have time for that

I'm taking a team for a one day (for them) and I could not find a publicly available 1 day park hopper deal, two day yes but not one day. We finally got a deal on them because we're part of a conference, but even then it wasn't a huge deal but any deal on Disney tickets is a good things. I figured that was the only deal out there but a friend of mine told me about a deal they get through work that was the exact same price as we were getting. It's through their HR department, so you might check there.

Update: Pretty sure the name of the deal its Tickets at Work

The only thing you can do to 'save' money is to check the calendar and have Mom go with you on a 'value' day, if that's possible.

I did that for a one day visit last year. I went on a Wednesday instead of a Friday and saved $40.00. Not a whole lot, but better than a kick in the pants.

When you do go I recommend buying the ticket before you go. You can even do it on the app when your in line. You'll save time by not having to stand in line at the ticket booth.

Yeah we are goin in a cpl weeks they are all the same price lol

Even authorized sellers don't give a discount on 1 day passes. They only have deals on multi day passes.

Other than the special deals like APH go with a friend deal, generally the only people getting discounts on 1 day passes are the military or teachers/student or certain employees who have a school or trade association to buy them through.

If using this site, make sure you use this exact site Tickets at Work, NOT Working Advantage (which is affiliated with TAW). People here have posted about getting dud tickets from WA and Yelp reviews show that this is a not uncommon problem with WA.

@theluckyrabbit thanks! Any issues with TAW you are aware of? My friend was waiting to get tickets through them instead of through our group rate.

I haven't heard any negative reports about TAW, but definitely stay away from WA! Have your friend use a credit card that offers good coverage, though, in case there is any problem with the tickets. In the case of the person who got ripped off with WA, the only recourse was to go through the credit card used to by the DLR tickets.

I haven’t used Tickets at Work for Disneyland, but I have for other CA theme parks and have had no problems at all.
